He doesn’t overact; instead, he lets the horror breathe, drawing out silences and emphasizing the unnatural cadence of the infected. The dual perspectives of the survivor groups are clearly delineated through subtle vocal shifts, making the fractured narrative easy to follow. That said, the middle sags slightly—around the 8-hour mark—where philosophical musings begin to outweigh momentum. Still, the final third delivers a chilling payoff that redefines the entire premise. The sound design is minimal but effective: distant echoes, muffled breaths, the occasional distorted radio burst, all amplifying the isolation.
