As a self-proclaimed mystery buff, I was thoroughly enthralled by Murder at the Playhouse. The atmospheric setting, courtesy of Dixon's meticulous research, felt so vivid that I half-expected to stumble upon a vintage Rolls-Royce chugging down the countryside. Tregear's masterful narration added to the immersive experience, imbuing Matthew Bryant with a charming, roguish charm that's impossible to resist.
