I was hooked from the first chapter. Jackson's narration is like a slow burn, building tension with each word. He captures Smith's weariness and determination, making him a protagonist you can't help but root for. The story is a slow reveal, each layer peeling back to expose something more sinister. It's not all perfect, though. At times, the pacing feels a tad slow, but it's a small price to pay for the intricate plot. The production is minimalistic, letting the story and narration take center stage. If you're a fan of complex mysteries that keep you on the edge of your seat, this is a must-listen.
