Listening to 'Philosophy' felt like having an animated, insightful conversation with a friend over a pint - it's that engaging. Elstob's narration is outstanding, his voice effortlessly switching between serious and playful, reflecting the book's tone beautifully. He masterfully handles the philosophical heavyweights, making even the most abstract ideas accessible. The pacing is spot on, never feeling rushed or laborious. However, I did find the transitions between topics slightly abrupt at times, which could have benefited from a smoother flow. But this is a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent audiobook experience that left me eager to explore more philosophical concepts.
