Pirouette

As a listener, I was immediately drawn into Ilani's world, thanks to Wane's immersive narration. Her ability to convey Ilani's emotional journey, from fear and isolation to empowerment, is truly exceptional. The story itself is a thrilling page-turner, with a plot that twists and turns like a dance routine gone awry. Davidson masterfully weaves together multiple plotlines, keeping the listener on the edge of their seat. The pacing is near-perfect, balancing action, dialogue, and introspection. However, I must admit, the sheer number of sisters (twelve!) can make it a bit challenging to keep track of them all. But that's a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audiobook experience.
