Proxima Rising

Edoardo Ballerini's narration is a standout feature of Proxima Rising. His ability to seamlessly switch between accents and characters brings the diverse cast to life, making it easy to keep track of the many moving pieces in this complex tale. He also masterfully captures the tension and urgency of the story, making you feel like you're right there in the thick of the action. The pacing is excellent, balancing moments of high-stakes drama with quieter, more introspective scenes that allow the characters and their motivations to breathe. However, I did find some of the political machinations a bit convoluted at times, which could potentially lose listeners who are more interested in the action than the intrigue. Overall, though, Proxima Rising is a thrilling audiobook that's perfect for fans of fast-paced science fiction with a dash of political intrigue.
