Red Sister

I was hooked from the start by Helen Duff's confident narration, which perfectly conveyed Nona's toughness and vulnerability. Mark Lawrence's world-building is rich and immersive, with a complex history that underpins the story. The pacing is well-balanced, with a good mix of action, dialogue, and introspection. One area where the production could improve is in the transitions between scenes, which can feel a bit abrupt at times. Additionally, some of the supporting characters feel a bit one-dimensional, but Nona's character more than makes up for this. Overall, I enjoyed this audiobook and would recommend it to fans of gritty fantasy.
