AudioBook Atlas

As someone who's listened to my fair share of science fiction audiobooks, I was impressed by Christian Rummel's nuanced portrayal of Captain Geary. His narration is crisp and clear, with a perfect balance of gravitas and wit. One of the standout aspects of the story is the way it explores the psychological toll of prolonged war on its characters. It's a theme that's often glossed over in the genre, but Relentless delves into it with depth and sensitivity. That being said, there were moments when the pacing felt a bit uneven. The audiobook jumps between battles and diplomatic negotiations with ease, but sometimes the transitions felt a bit jarring. Additionally, some of the supporting characters felt a bit one-dimensional, particularly the Alliance politicians. However, these are minor quibbles in an otherwise outstanding performance. Overall, I'd highly recommend Relentless to fans of science fiction and military sci-fi in particular.
