The David Wolf Mystery Thriller Series, Books 8-10

I've been a fan of the David Wolf series since book one, and this trilogy doesn't disappoint. Hopkins' narration is top-notch, capturing Wolf's steely resolve and subtle vulnerabilities. The pacing in 'Dire' is particularly impressive, ratcheting up tension as Wolf delves into a sinister plot. 'Signature' hits close to home, both literally and emotionally, with a serial killer case that hits too close to Wolf's personal life. My only critique? I wish we'd gotten a bit more resolution on a certain character arc in 'Dire'. But that's a small quibble in an otherwise fantastic listen. Production is clean and crisp, with no distractions from the story.
