I See You've Called in Dead

I found Sean Patrick Hopkins's narration of *I See You've Called in Dead* to be utterly captivating. His ability to channel Bud Stanley's grumpy, world-weary demeanor while infusing every sentence with just the right amount of dry wit makes the audiobook experience immersive and effortless. Hopkins brings a warmth to a character who could easily have felt unlikeable, allowing listeners to genuinely empathize with Bud's plight. The pacing is excellent, with chapter breaks timed perfectly to maintain momentum between listens. Kenney's dialogue sparkles, especially the interactions between Bud and his eccentric colleagues, though some subplots about his burgeoning friendship felt slightly underdeveloped compared to the main narrative arc. Overall, a fantastic listen with exceptional writing and narration.
