Editor's Review ★★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

I devoured The Housemaid in a single sitting, drawn in by Sophie Rundle's captivating narration and the story's intricate plot twists. The pacing is well-balanced, with a steady build-up of tension that culminates in a shocking revelation. One of the standout aspects of the audiobook is its ability to create a sense of claustrophobia, mirroring the protagonist's growing feelings of isolation within the Howard's grand estate. My only criticism is that some of the supporting characters feel a bit underdeveloped, and at times, the plot meanders slightly. However, these minor quibbles are easily forgiven given the overall quality of the production and Rundle's outstanding performance.
