Le Héros des siècles

I've listened to my fair share of epic fantasy, but 'Le Héros des siècles' stands out as a true masterclass in the genre. Sanderson's ability to create a sense of history and mythology that feels as real and tangible as our own is nothing short of remarkable. The story is vast, and while some may find the pacing slow at times, I found it to be a deliberate and necessary approach to world-building on this scale. Driesen's narration is a significant factor in making this audiobook a standout experience. His ability to differentiate characters, convey emotion, and maintain energy throughout the 30-hour runtime is nothing short of impressive. My only critique is that some of the more complex magic explanations could have been broken up with more action to maintain tension. But this is a minor quibble in an otherwise exceptional listening experience.
