As a fan of gritty, complex crime thrillers, I found 'Le serment des limbes' to be a standout listen. François d'Aubigny's narration is exceptional, his ability to convey the story's growing sense of unease and dread through subtle shifts in tone and pacing is nothing short of brilliant. The story itself is a labyrinthine exploration of power, corruption, and the lengths we'll go to protect those we love. My only critique is that the pacing can feel a tad slow at times, but this is more than made up for by the story's many unexpected twists and turns. If you're looking for a thought-provoking, immersive audiobook experience, this is it.
