Vanished

As someone who loves a good mystery, I found Vanished to be an exhilarating ride. The story is cleverly plotted, with enough red herrings to keep you guessing until the very end. I particularly appreciated how Elliot explores the psychological toll of abduction on both the victim and her family. The narration is top-notch, with Nick Podehl and Amy McFadden bringing a level of authenticity to their characters that truly immerses you in the story. My only critique is that the pacing can feel a bit uneven at times, with some sections moving at a snail's pace while others race by in a blur. But if you're looking for a suspenseful, character-driven thriller, Vanished is a solid choice.
