I was drawn into 'Easy' from the first moment, thanks to Mason Lloyd's exceptional narration. He captures the essence of Easy, a man broken by war, trying to navigate a world that doesn't quite fit anymore. Lloyd's voice, rich and resonant, perfectly conveys Easy's pain, his struggle, and ultimately, his growth. The pacing is excellent, allowing the story to unfold naturally, with no rush to resolution. West's writing is evocative, painting vivid pictures of both the horrors of war and the beauty of love. However, I found the ending a tad too neat, a minor critique in an otherwise outstanding audiobook.
