Mail Order Outlaw

I loved listening to Mail Order Outlaw, but as an editor, I have to nitpick. Sometimes the supporting cast feels a bit one-dimensional, with characters serving only to advance the plot or provide a foil to Ed's rough-around-the-edges charm. It's a minor quibble, however, as the main story is so compelling that it's easy to forgive Woolf's lapses in characterization. Lia Frederick's narration is a major part of this audiobook's appeal, and her ability to bring Ed's emotional depth to the surface is a highlight of the production. The pacing is brisk and engaging, with a sense of momentum that never flags. If you're looking for a fun and thrilling listen, Mail Order Outlaw is definitely worth a try.
